Accommodations for Out-of-Town Guests

It isn’t too early to make travel and hotel arrangements for your guests. Limited overnight accommodations are available in Forest Grove; in addition, a number of hotels and motels in Hillsboro, Beaverton and Portland are within driving distance of the Forest Grove campus. For more information, contact the Chambers of Commerce of each city, or the Washington County Visitors Association at 503-644-5555.

Tickets

Tickets are not required for the Commencement Ceremony.

Parking

Parking Lot C is the most convenient place to park. It is located on the southeast corner of campus on the corner of Pacific Avenue and Cedar Street right next to the Taylor-Meade Performing Arts Center. All Pacific University parking lots are available on a first-come-first-served basis on the day of commencement. No parking permits are needed. Please be courteous if parking on the streets in the neighborhoods around campus.

Accessible parking spaces are located near Taylor-Meade Performing Arts Center in Parking Lot C on the corner of Pacific Avenue and Cedar Street. There are also side doors and a lift inside the building so you don’t have to enter through the main entrance. We are happy to accommodate your needs. Seating

All seating is on a first-come-first-served basis. Doors open one (1) hour before the ceremony starts.

Accessible seating is available on both the front and back rows in McCready Hall. Please call Curtis Ray in the Events Office at 503-352-1557 for more information.

Hometown Press Release

After Commencement, a press release announcing graduates is sent to their hometown newspapers. Students who do not want their information sent to news organizations, or have questions, should contact Media Relations Director Joe Lang at 503-352-2902 or jlang@pacificu.edu.
