Aurae Beidler is the manager of the healthcare compliance certificate program at Pacific University. She assisted in the design of a new healthcare compliance graduate certificate program, including curriculum development, course setup, course instruction, etc.
Previously she was the corporate integrity administrator for Salem Health, where she managed the daily functions of the compliance program and served as the primary contact for compliance inquires and concerns. She considers herself an active compliance professional, staying informed in government regulations, attending association events and contributing to compliance-related activities at both the state and federal levels. She has also published an article in Compliance Today on mandatory compliance programs. She has more than three years experience in healthcare compliance and 10 years in healthcare.
She holds a master's degree in healthcare administration from Pacific University. Her master's capstone project examined compliance strategies of Oregon hospitals with Medicare’s Recovery Audit Contractors. She most recently completed a graduate certificate in biomedical informatics at Oregon Health and Sciences University. Previously, she completed a graduate certificate in healthcare management and policy at Oregon State University, and an undergraduate degree, a bachelor of arts in journalism, from the University of Oregon.
She currently credentialed as a CHC, certified in healthcare compliance and RHIA, registered health information administrator.
