I, a bass, have performed as a soloist in Germany, the Czech Republic, and in the Baltic States. I have been a featured soloist with the Prague Sinfonietta and have performed throughout the Northwest with orchestras, opera companies, and choral ensembles, including the Oregon Symphony, Northwest Chamber Orchestra, Portland Baroque Orchestra, Washington East Opera, Coeur d'Alene Opera, PSU Opera, Southwest Washington Symphony, Portland Symphonic Choir, Oregon Chorale, Lower Columbia Symphonic Band, BravoVancouver, Willamette Master Chorus, and the Columbia Chorale. I have appeared repeatedly as a guest artist at the Astoria Music Festival, Northwest Performing Arts, Portland SummerFest and Bel Canto Northwest. I have performed numerous oratorio and chorale works, such as C.P.E. Bach's Magnificat, J.S. Bach's St. John Passion (Jesus, Pilate), Mass in B Minor and Coffee Cantata, Handel's Messiah and The Utrecht Jubilate, Haydn's The Creation and Lord Nelson Mass, Mozart'sRequiem and Mass in C Minor, Fauré's Requiem, Prokofiev's Lieutenant Kije, Norman Dello Joio's Songs of Abelard, Shostakovich's Symphony No. 14, and many others. Among extensive oratorio repertoire, I have performed the roles of Eutifronte in Der Stein der Weisen, Don Alfonso in Cosi Fan Tutte, Colline in La Bohéme, Simone in Gianni Schicchi, Pistola in Falstaff, Bartolo in Le Nozze di Figaro, Basilio in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte, Alidoro in La Cenerentola, Commendatore in Don Giovanni, Superintendent Budd in Albert Herring, and Kum in Mussorgsky's Sorochintsy Fair. I hold a Master of Music degree from Portland State University and am on the music faculty teaching Voice at Pacific University and Concordia University.
