Dr. Zeiger has been a social work educator for 24 years, having taught in Minnesota, Alaska, Massachusetts and Georgia prior to coming to becoming Pacific University’s founding MSW Program Director. His practice experience includes working with adolescents in residential treatment, older adults in day treatment, and counseling teen fathers. Dr. Zeiger’s research interests include careers of social work educators, working with “difficult” colleagues, and immigration and social justice. He is author of Career Reflections of Social Work Educators (Lyceum Books, 2010). His teaching expertise lies in Research Methods. He has led cultural immersions to Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Costa Rica.
