Areas I Teach

Dr. Wendy Hanks joined Pacific University in August 2013. Dr. Hanks previously served as the Doctor of Audiology Program Director at Gallaudet University, and had faculty appointments at Towson University and Brigham Young University.  She has also worked as director of audiology in a hospital setting and private practice. Dr. Hanks completed a Bachelor of Science in Educational Psychology in 1979 and a Master of Communication Disorders in 1981, both from Brigham Young University, and then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Audiology from Wichita State University in 1985. As a transplant to the area, Dr. Hanks enjoys exploring the wonders of Oregon and spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren.  She will continue to be a fan of all BYU sports, especially football, but is now a fan of Boxer football, too.
