Bachelor of Health Science Online Program Receives Praise

Best Schools, a resource for prospective students seeking an online degree program, has highlighted Pacific University's Bachelor of Health Science among Oregon's top online programs. In an interview with Best Schools, BHS director Toni Plato discussed how the program has been able to create a strong cohort of online students that have close bonds to each other and to faculty.

She noted that the program is designed for adult learners and healthcare workers, including those who have either dropped out or have completed an associate’s degree and are now working and have families.

"It’s a non-traditional program for adults to come back and finish degrees that they may otherwise not have a chance to complete because of life situations, such as work or families," she said.  "This is an opportunity for them to work full-time and get their degree."
