Faculty Members Urge Political Candidates to Keep Millennials in Mind

A column written by Center for Peace & Spirituality director and university chaplain, Rev. Chuck Currie, and Center for Gender Equity director and History professor, Dr. Martha Rampton, published on politics website TheHill.com on Tuesday, March 31. The column appeared on the site's Congress Blog page, dubbed "The Hill's forum for lawmakers and policy professionals."

Rev. Currie and Dr. Rampton note that national politicians and those working in higher education should pay close attention to Millennials' attitudes and beliefs about social issues, including reproductive rights, sexual assault and workplace inequities.

Pacific University (Ore.) fosters an environment of rich intellectual exchange. Views and opinions expressed by students, faculty and staff do not necessarily represent the position of the university.
