Pacific University Welcomes TNT's The Librarians to Forest Grove

 Filming of scenes for a future episode of “The Librarians,” a hit adventure series on TNT, will take place on Pacific University’s Forest Grove Campus on Tuesday, Aug. 25 between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.

The Librarians airs on TNT and stars Rebecca Romijn, Christian Kane and John Larroquette, with recurring roles by Noah Wyle, Bob Newhart and Jane Curtin.

Filming on campus will take place at the Marsh southwest lawn in front of Carnegie Hall and near Old College Hall, and amongst the trees in the area. Pedestrians may be detained for a several minutes, or asked to go around the area, where and while filming is taking place. Areas will not be closed or off limits for long periods of time.

Props, including kayaks, a totem pole base and old building replicas may also occupy the west lawn area north of the walkway from College Way to Marsh Hall.

Filming will also affect vehicle access on College Way and Main Street during the week. A portion of College Way from 21st Avenue to Pacific Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 25, and Main Street between Pacific Avenue and 21st Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 26-27.

Additional filming will take place at the Theatre in the Grove on Pacific Avenue on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 27-28, as well as the Hacienda Building on Main Street.
