Pacific University Welcomes Two New Members to Board of Trustees

Pacific University recently welcomed two new members to its Board of Trustees in Oregon Sen. Betsy Johnson (D-Scappoose) and retired Bank of Oswego founder and president Dan Heine.

Johnson, recently named Legislator of the Year by the Oregon Economic Development Association, has served District 16 in the Oregon Senate since 2005 following a four-year stint in the Oregon House of Representatives.

Heine founded The Bank of Oswego in 2004 after serving as the president of Vancouver-based Today's Bank from 1998-2003.

Pacific's Board of Trustees consists of various community leaders, as well as university faculty and students, and is the ultimate body within the university's governance structure. Johnson and Heine's respective terms continue through June 2018.
