Psychology Major Amy VanderZanden '16 Interns at Prestigious Research Center in Philadelphia

Pacific University psychology major Amy VanderZanden is spending her summer as a research assistant with the Spatial Intelligence and Learning Center at Temple University in Philadelphia.

A senior from Portland, VanderZanden is one of just 10 students nationwide selected for the prestigious internship program that is funded by the National Science Foundation under its Research Experience for Undergraduates Program.

VanderZanden is a member of the university chapter of Psi Chi, the international honor society for psychology, and is also a six-time member of the College of Arts & Sciences Dean's List.
