School of Pharmacy Associate Professer Fawzy Elbarbry and Assistant Professor R. Brigg Turner Publish Article on Sildenafil (Viagra) Study

School of Pharmacy Associate Professor Dr. Fawzy Elbarbry and Assistant Professor Dr. R. Brigg Turner have recently published an article on the pharmacokinetics of Sildenafil, popularly known as Viagra. The article, entitled “Effects of Lemon and Seville Orange Juices on the Pharmacokinetic Properties of Sildenafil in Healthy Subjects” reports on the result of an international collaboration between Dr. Elbarbry and Dr. Turner and researchers from two pharmacy schools in Egypt. This study evaluates for the first time the effects of two citrus fruit juices, Lemon and Seville orange, on the pharmacokinetics of sildenafil (Viagra) in male healthy subjects following a single oral dose.
