The week of Dec. 11 was the last full week of pre-punch construction activities. This work will continue through December alongside backpunch work, as Walsh prepares to hand spaces over in early January for owner work and move in. 
Gina Lee, associate director and events coordinator in Undergraduate Admissions, is leaving Pacific after almost eight years. Join us on Jan. 4 in Knight Hall between 2 and 4 p.m.to thank Gina and wish her well in her new adventures in Korea.

During the week of Dec. 8, ceiling tile was installed throughout the building , and concrete floor polishing is tracking ahead of schedule on Level 2. Downstairs, the art gallery floors were polished, flooring at the CLIC was set, and UIS began reconnecting wireless access points and hanging TV mounts and monitors.
Pacific University Mathematics Professor Nancy Neudauer
Professor Nancy Neudauer will be connecting women in mathematics while researching matroid theory as part of a 2023-2024 Fulbright Global Scholar Award. The project supports her dream of bringing matroids to a wider audience in collaboration with researchers in South Africa and New Zealand.

Changes are coming to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) that will make the process easier and faster. Debbie O'Dea, Pacific's director of financial aid, details the changes and offers resources for students and parents.
The Black Alumni Chapter seeks to welcome new participants following a year of work by founding members Robert Browning ’69 and Donna Maxey ’70.
