She helped guide countless students through their personal and financial obstacles to complete their educations at Pacific University.

In tribute to her tireless work on behalf of students, the Eva C. More About Eva

Professionally, she instituted a number of programs to support students in their educational ventures. She assisted in the development of new orientation and ambassador programs, took the lead in the design of two new residence halls, guided the development of the Hillsboro Campus, and led the effort to create health and counseling services for graduate students.

More than anything, though, she is remembered the one-on-one guidance and problem-solving that helped so many students through the challenges that threatened to derail their goals.

Eva C. Krebs died July 12, 2012, following a valiant battle with breast cancer. Today, however, her legacy at Pacific University lives on in the stories of students who have succeeded due to her support, in the traditions she established, and in the scholarship that continues her work.
