As the Claims Processor for the Central Billing Office for Pacific University Healthcare Clinics utilizing OCHIN Epic this position is the primary contact for the clinics in billing matters and is responsible for monitoring billing work queues for all clinics, maintaining billing workflows, monitoring Accounts Receivable for each clinic, and providing month-end reports to the Business Office for each clinic.  Claims Processor will be the primary liaison between the Central Billing Office and OCHIN.

This position evaluates, develops, implements, and manages a high-end annual giving program to encourage and inspire annual donors to new heights through a coordinated and strategic solicitation and stewardship process. A significant element of this program is the Trombley Society, a university-wide unrestricted giving program made up of donors of $1,000+.

The purpose of this position is to help manage the day-to-day activities of Circulation and Interlibrary Lending Services at the Hillsboro Campus Library, assisting students, faculty, and staff with their library service needs.  The Access Services Specialist, in collaboration with the Access Services Supervisor at the Hillsboro Campus Library, is responsible for training and supervising student employees during all open hours for which the Access Services Specialist is the lead worker. This position performs independent paraprofessional work and has a thorough knowledge of established library procedures and technical systems; and works with librarians and staff at the Hillsboro campus, as well as with Access Services, Collection Management Services, and Systems staff located on the Forest Grove campus, in support of library-wide functions and operations. This is a permanent benefit-eligible position, working 22 hours per week, with regularly scheduled hours on evenings and weekends. Some hours may be scheduled during business hours as needed to substitute for other staff members’ absences.

The purpose of this position is to develop and implement outreach activities in Oregon to increase health and information literacy skills and to improve access to quality consumer health information, using National Library of Medicine (NLM) products and services, for health professionals who work with minorities, seniors, teens, veterans’ groups and military families, low income populations, or other underserved populations. This position will coordinate all training and education services and programs of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Pacific Northwest Region (NN/LM PNR) in Oregon, in collaboration with the NN/LM PNR Consumer Health Outreach Coordinator based at the Regional Medical Library (RML) at the University of Washington. The person in this position will work under the direction of the University Librarian (Project Lead) and supervision of the Health Sciences Librarian (Project Manager) and must be able to manage multiple concurrent projects, resolve various access and resource sharing issues, and provide service and advice to network members, collaborators and partners at Pacific University and in Oregon. This is a part-time benefit-eligible position, working 24-30 hours per week. Regular travel within Washington County and throughout the state of Oregon will be required.
