Summer Student Housing

  • Summer Housing is offered on a limited basis to current students

  • Priority is given to students who are staying the entire summer and have fall housing assignments. We historically have been able to accommodate all applicants.

  • Summer Housing is only available in select rooms in Cascade Hall. Most rooms are double-occupancy (2-person) rooms, and there are no apartments.

  • Dining Services will be limited over the summer; summer meal plans are not available. Cascade Hall has two community kitchens available for summer use.

  • There will be one or more Resident Assistants living in housing to provide assistance and support

  • Services are limited over the summer

April 17: Summer Housing Applications due
April 24: Summer Housing assignments emailed
May 19: Move in to summer assignments
August 3: Summer housing move-out deadline for students not living on campus Fall semester
Early August: Students living on campus Fall semester move to assignments (exact dates TBD)

Summer Rates

Summer housing is billed to your student account based on the length of your summer housing reservation.

  • Shared room: $150/week
  • Private room: $200/week

Stay requirements

  • Minimum stay: 2 weeks
  • Maximum stay: 11 weeks (May 19 - August 3). Note: Students who live on campus in Fall will be able to pay the rate of 1 additional week to remain in summer housing until their fall room is available for early move-in in August; dates TBD.)

Available rooms are in limited supply.

Summer Housing fees will be charged to student accounts in the Business Office prior to May 19. Contact the Business Office if you have questions regarding when payment is due or payment plans.

Cancelations

  • Cancelations must be emailed to reslife@pacificu.edu.
  • Cancelations received before assignments are made will be processed at no cost.
  • After a student receives a summer housing assignment and before they take occupancy or the summer housing term starts (whichever occurs first), cancelations will be processed with a $300 cancelation fee, applied to the student's account.
  • Cancelations will not be accepted after a student has taken occupancy or the summer housing term has started (whichever occurs first).
