A Record-Breaking Athletic Giving Days

TOUCHDOWN, BOXERS!!!!

Pacific University’s third annual Athletic Giving Days came to a wildly successful close on Oct. 19 after a whirlwind 36 hours of giving.

Family, friends, alumni and fans came out in record-breaking numbers to support Pacific’s student-athletes, teams and clubs, and the whole Athletic Department, tripling our donor goal of 400 donors by closing time.

After the final buzzer sounded, the results are in: more than 1,200 donors gave over $144,000 in support of Athletic Giving Days!

“I am incredibly proud of our families, alumni and friends that participated in Athletic Giving Days this week,” said Keith Buckley, director of Athletics. “We have increased participation to a record level and that speaks to the belief our supporters have in the student-athlete experience at Pacific. I speak for all our coaches, staff and student-athletes in thanking everyone that helped make Athletic Giving Days such a success.”
