Pacific University presents the 2024 Faculty and Staff Honors & Awards Ceremony. Please join us in honoring your colleagues Wednesday, May 8, in McCready Hall on the Forest Grove Campus.
Assisting at Commencement on May 18 is a great opportunity to celebrate the Class of 2024! The Commencement Planning Team is still seeking 10 more Boxers to lend a hand. The commencement committee has jobs for everyone, from handing out programs and showing guests to their seats to driving guests around in a golf cart.
Thank you to all who voted in the recent Staff Senate elections. We are pleased to announce the following nine staff members who have been elected for a two-year term beginning July 1.
Staff Senate is curating a day filled with motivational, team-oriented activities and opportunities to make new connections and get to know colleagues better.
The 60-minute April 17 All-Staff Meeting recording and slides are now available. Topics included Staff Senate elections, the June All-Staff Conference, upcoming event staff opportunities, strategic plan updates, Canopy EAP benefits, UIS updates, FAFSA updates, and other announcements.
Staff are invited to socialize with colleagues while enjoying coffee and donuts on Tuesday, April 23 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on both campuses. This event is sponsored by the Staff Senate Idea Committee.
Pacific's Staff Senate is sponsoring a hot breakfast of bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes, vegan sausage, fresh fruit, coffee, and tea at the All-Staff Meeting on Wed., April 17. Registration for the breakfast is required.
Join colleagues for coffee and donuts on Tuesday, April 23 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on the Hillsboro and Forest Grove campuses. Bring your own mug and feel good about helping the planet. This event is sponsored by the Staff Senate Idea Committee.
Tomorrow is the deadline to nominate yourself or a colleague to serve a two-year term on the Staff Senate or serve a three-year term as a staff representative on one of five university standing committees. This is a great opportunity to collaborate and build connections with colleagues in other areas of Pacific and also engage in larger decisions within the university.
Are you interested in collaborating and building connections with colleagues in other areas of Pacific? Are you interested in engaging in larger decisions within the university? If so, consider getting involved in the shared governance system at Pacific as a Staff Senator or as a staff representative on a university standing committee.
