On July 22, 2024 Pacific University School of Pharmacy hired a new Associate Professor, Dr. Eric Gilliam, PharmD.  Dr. Gilliam received his PharmD in 2007 from Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Indianapolis, IN.  He is an emergency medicine and critical care clinical pharmacy specialist, that is passionate about teaching others how to care for critically ill and injured patients.
The School of Pharmacy welcomed newly matriculated students, Class of 2027 and Class of 2029, to our 3-year and 5-year PharmD program pathways during fall semester induction week on Monday, August 5th. We also welcomed our new cohort for our new 2-year standalone MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, which is the second cohort in the history of our School and currently represented by Class of 2025 and Class of 2026.
At Pacific University, reunions are alumni-driven events.  Colleges and School administrations are essentially “not allowed” to plan reunions – it’s up to each class to decide when, and if, they are going to come together to mark a milestone after graduation.  The inaugural Class of 2009 held a 10-year reunion, and the Class of 2010 was in the midst of planning when COVID-19 derailed things.  But what about your class?  I reached out to Martha Calus-McLain ‘03, Associate Vice President of Alumni Engagement (and undergraduate alumnus) for tips on planning a reunion.
