All Pacific students and employees are invited to celebrate the inauguration of our 18th president, Dr. Jennifer Coyle ’90, OD ’93, MS ’00, on Thursday, March 9. The formal inauguration ceremony and reception begin at 4 p.m. in the Stoller Center. Join us for a week-long inauguration celebration, where we are proud to highlight the work of our students, faculty, staff, alumni and community at several showcases, lectures, demonstrations and more starting Saturday, March 4. University staff are also invited to lend a hand during the inauguration ceremony to assist with guest seating, shuttle driving and guest support.
Her junior year at Pacific, Marge (Putman) Lanthier '60 met Herb Berreth OD '60, an optometry student living in the Forest Grove Fire Hall. They dated for nearly one-year and were married between terms their senior year.
Dudley Carson ’40 died February 4, 2021, at age 103.
Matthew B. Miller died June 21, 2022, at age 41, in his home in Alameda, Calif.
Dr. Janet Eileen Copeland died Oct. 24, 2019, at age 73.
Sharon (Ancker) Snyder of Sacramento, Calif., died on Oct. 16, 2021, at age 70.
