Has anyone ever told you that you throw like a girl? Has anyone ever told you to "grow some balls?" Gendered language permeates our culture and informs the way we think, speak and act. Why is this so prevalent and what effects does it have on gender relationships and ideas of self? Finally, what implications can we make about larger society based on our exploration of gendered language?
