Men's Groups
Plans are in the works to organize discussion or support groups for men on campus about the challenges of being male in the 21st century and pursue other masculinities programs.
Referral Service and Psychological Counseling
CGE provides referral services to a variety of social service organizations. This semester we hope to organize groups for community women.
Support for Non-Traditional Students
We have put into place a mentorship program for students over 25 years of age and have organized a “Lunch With” series to expose them to campus information often difficult to access when living off campus. We are working on a baby-sitting service for non-trad students.
Sexual Assault Awareness
CGE is represented at the state level on a committee that concerns Sexual Assault Response Teams on college campuses. Student Life and the Counseling Center have coordinated efforts in enhance information and programming about Pacific support services for assault victims. CGE has also worked with Student Life on programming around sexual assault issues.
