Grant Proposal Review Process
The grant proposals will be reviewed by the members of the Hewlett Program Board, and will be assessed in terms of their fit with the priorites of the Hewlett Program. The Board may require you to provide further information if the project looks interesting but incomplete. They may also want to talk with the proposed participants to clarify the nature of the project. Grant amounts and awards will be determined by careful consideration of both individual budgets and the overall needs of the program. Clearly, not all projects will be funded, but the Board undertakes to work with all interested groups to aid in the successful completion of proposals. It is expected that 6 grants, involving 2-3 faculty per grant, will be awarded.
As a condition of the award, the 'Hewlett Fellows' will be expected to share their new teaching practices with their colleagues in a monthly colloquium. |
