Marc Marenco
Institute Director

Welcome

Public Policy is shaped by public attitude. Public attitude is shaped by public discourse. The wisdom of the collective decisions we make about the future depends in large measure on the quality of the conversation we engage in today. The Pacific Institute for Ethics & Social Policy brings together educators, legislators, students, religious leaders, legal experts, and concerned citizens to engage in sustained conversation and effective program development to address the big issues of our day. The Pacific Institute exists to sustain important public conversations long enough to derive insight from them and formulate effective plans for action. If you turn to our advisory board page you will see that we are a rich mixture of university and community based citizens with a common goal.
