New Student Advising & Registration

Summer Advising is a perfect way to register for your classes and get your questions answered for both first-time freshmen and transfers before fall classes.

Before You Schedule Advising

Incoming students must have the following finished before they make a summer advising and registration appointment:

  - Read the Advising & Registration Guide (Freshmen Only)

  - Academic Interest Survey

  - Establish your Pacific Account (PUNet ID)

  - Housing Application (check your Pacific email beginning May 14)

  - Language Placement Test (Freshman Only)

  - Official College Transcripts Submitted (if you have taken college courses)

On-Campus Registration — Freshmen

July 17 - August 12

On-Campus Registration is an opportunity for incoming freshmen and their families to visit our campus to participate in the registration program. Students will meet with a faculty advisor to select and register for fall classes. Students and families have the opportunity to learn more about orientation, housing, dining services, financial aid and billing, and any other questions they have.

Hawaii Summer Registration — Freshmen & Transfers

July 12

Hawaii Registration is an opportunity for incoming freshmen and transfer students with their families to participate in the registration program. Students will meet with a faculty advisor to select and register for fall classes. Students and families have the opportunity to learn more about orientation, housing, dining services, financial aid and billing, and any other questions they have.

Advising & Registration from a Distance— Freshmen

Scheduled Individually

For those incoming freshmen students who are unable to attend On-Campus or Hawaii Registration we provide Distance Registration where we will enroll you in an online version of the Advising Workshop. You’ll be guided through the Advising and Registration process by the Pacific University Advising Center.

Transfer Student Registration (On Campus or by Phone)

Scheduled Individually after June 1

Transfer Student Registration is an opportunity for incoming transfer students to meet and speak with an academic advisor to select and register for classes.  You will make an appointment with the Advising Center, start by checking the Transfer Student Next Steps, completing your Academic Interest Form, and submitting your request for Transfer Student Advising & Registration today!

Appointments can either be in person or over the phone and will be scheduled after you have submitted your final official transcripts to Pacific for all institutions attended - including the most recent term of attendance. Transfer student advising & registration will generally begin after June 1 for fall starters, and after January 1 for spring starters.
