Conditional Admissions
International undergraduate students that are yet to satisfy English Language proficiency requirements but have met the academic requirements for admission to Pacific University, may be eligible for a Conditional Admission (BA Transition program).
As part of their conditional admission international students that meet a certain TOEFL score (per chart below) can enroll in degree level courses along with their ESL courses.

| ESL + 1 regular class | TOEFL 53, IELTS 5.0 |
| ESL + 2 regular classes | TOEFL 61, IELTS 5.5 |
| ESL + 3 regular classes | TOEFL 70, IELTS 6.0 |
| Full time degree seeking | TOEFL 79, IELTS 6.5 |
