Students and alumni were invited to work together on this special project through the Community Cycling Center (CCC) of Portland.
Spirit Night 2008 - February 22, 2008
Hundreds of Boxer fans brought out the spirit and cheered the Boxers on to victory over Willamette University during the final home game of the season! The first 25 attendees to the Women’s and Men’s Basketball games received free popcorn-filled Boxer megaphones and free t-shirts were launched in to the stands throughout each game. True fans showed their Boxer spirit with face paint.
Fundraiser at Pack the PAC - January 18, 2008
SARC representatives staffed a fund raising table during the Men's and Women's basketball games against Linfield College. The table was intended for sales of spirit hands ($5) and Boxer shirts ($10).
Portland Holiday Party - December 6, 2007
SARC attended the 2007 Portland alumni holiday party. Raffle ticket sales resulted in a successful evening of fundraising while having a great time connecting with alumni. SARC president, Kristen Mathis '09 acted as co-master of ceremonies.
SARC Holiday Party - December 1, 2007
Questionable sweaters, hysterical gifts, potluck dinner and even a visit from Santa made the annual SARC holiday party complete.
Spirit Week - October 15-20, 2007
During Spirit Week SARC sponsored the Medallion Search and a door-decoration contest. On Friday, October 19, SARC assisted with festivities surrounding the annual Noise Parade. A family weekend favorite turned soggy as rain streamed down on the women's game against Lewis & Clark on October 20. Devoted soccer fans appreciated hot cider compliments of SARC.
Inaugural Soccer Games & Face Paint - September 22, 2007
The men and women's teams were pitted against Pacific Lutheran University on this incredibly crisp autumn afternoon. SARC offered free face paint to all who turned out to support the Boxers on their new turf.
Organization and Club Fair - September 6, 2007
The SARC table was popular at this annual fair. Visitors to the booth became contestants in a major trivia competition. Contestants answered trivia questions ranging in difficulty for chances to win prizes.
