Business Scholars

The Pacific Business Scholars program is an accelerated program offering highly motivated students the opportunity to earn an undergraduate business degree in three years. The program integrates classroom learning with co-curricular activities, real-world networking and periodic workshops to prepare students to enter the workforce or graduate school, all in a liberal arts setting.

New College of Business

A new College of Business will be formally established at Pacific University beginning July 1, 2013. The mission of the College of Business is to educate enlightened leaders who foster imaginative and entrepreneurial organizations. College of Business

Program Highlights

The Pacific Business Scholars program allows students to earn a four-year bachelor's degree in three years. Students are prepared to enter the workplace or graduate school early and can save tuition with the accelerated program.
The program features real-world internship opportunities to give students workplace preparation.
Monthly meetings with area business leaders offer authentic learning experiences and networking opportunities.
The Co-Curricular Series supports students with outside-the-classroom workshops and activities designed to help build and polish essential business and social skills. Topics may include business etiquette, resumé writing, interview preparation and networking.

Admissions

Pacific Business Scholars must apply to the College of Arts & Sciences at Pacific University. Indicate that you intend to apply to the Pacific Business Scholars program, and you will be sent the Pacific Business Scholars program application packet.

Upon admission to Pacific University, you will be contacted by the Business Scholars program to review your application materials and to schedule an interview. Interviews can be in person or via phone or video conference for those outside the local area.

Co-Curricular Series

At Pacific, we know that your success in business comes from both classroom learning and social skills development. The Co-Curricular Series helps build these essential skills not typically taught in the classroom. Series programming includes:

City of Cornelius Rebranding Project, Cornelius, the small city just east of Forest Grove, was in a quandary. With a new Wal-Mart coming to town and other growth anticipated, the city needed to modernize its brand, but lacked the $50,000 and up rebranding experts charge.
