Jennifer Camp

Originally from Atlantic City, New Jersey, Jennifer received her MFA in Dance from University of California, Irvine, and earned her BA in Dance at Arizona State University with an emphasis on Dance Education. 

Recognized as a dynamically diverse performer, encouraging educator, and innovative choreographer, Jennifer has over 19 years of professional experience in the field. She has danced contemporary and classical roles for independent projects and dance companies, some included are Center Dance Ensemble, Cliff Keuter, and Polaris Dance Theatre where she has been a company member since 2004.

She has choreographed and taught nationally in pre-professional schools and universities such as University of California, Irvine; Saddleback College; Fullerton College; Eastside Ballet Academy; and Mission Viejo Dance and Performing Arts Center. Additionally, she has participated in outreach programs in New Jersey, Arizona, and California, including Artsbridge, where Jennifer taught under-privileged communities in California public schools.

In 2005, Jennifer had the honor of presenting her research, Supplemental Conditioning for Dancers, at the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science conference in Stockholm, Sweden.


Since Jennifer’s arrival in 2003, she has established Pacific’s own performing company, the Pacific Dance Ensemble.  She has implemented essential courses and recruited prestigious guest artists and dance companies every year who mentor students and participate in concerts.  .

Jennifer is delighted to be the Director of Dance at Pacific. She believes she was meant to be a teacher of dance. She enjoys sharing the beauty of movement with all students, whatever their level or training.
