Jennifer Camp (Instructor: Dance, Choreography, and Dance History) is recognized as a dynamically diverse performer, encouraging educator, and innovative choreographer, and has over twenty years of professional experience in the field. Since her arrival at Pacific in 2003 she has founded Pacific Dance Ensemble and the newly established dance major, implemented essential courses, and recruited prestigious guest artists and dance companies every year.


Originally from Atlantic City, New Jersey, Jennifer earned her BA in Dance at Arizona State University with an emphasis on Dance Education and Dance Science, and an MFA in Dance from University of California, Irvine.  She has choreographed and taught nationally in pre-professional schools and universities across the U.S., and she has presented her choreography at many professional festivals and concerts, most recently in the Santa Cruz Fringe Festival.


Jennifer has danced both contemporary and classical roles including Hamlet, American in Paris, Snow Queen, Light, and Scapes, working with independent projects and dance companies including Center Dance Ensemble, Cliff Keuter, Broadway Rose Theatre, and Polaris Dance Theatre.


Jennifer enjoys sharing the beauty of movement with all students, whatever their level or training, and she believes she was meant to be a teacher of dance.
