Jessica Wallenfels (Director: The Anxious Seat: Pacific Identity Project) is an award-winning director and choreographer who has been producing her own original work professionally since 1997. She has created original pieces in New York City and Los Angeles and has produced more work with her company, Many Hats Collaboration.

 

Jennifer has choreographed several plays for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, including Love’s Labors Lost, Romeo and Juliet and Dead Man’s Cell Phone. Next season, she will return to work on A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Cymbeline. Other regional work includes Dancing at Lughnasa (Seattle Repertory Theatre); Twelfth Night (Portland Center Stage); and Distracted (Artists Repertory Theatre).

 

Jessica has participated in projects at Tanglewood Music Center, Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Old Globe Theater, and The Mark Taper Forum, and she has directed shows at Portland Community College and Willamette University. She is a two-time Drammy Award winner for Outstanding Choreography and a PAMTA Award winner for Outstanding Choreography.
