Personal: A Few Words I’m working on my thirteenth book and plan to attend a Holocaust conference or two in the near future. In late May, it was my privilege to help teach a Peace Studies class at our sister school in Hiroshima, Japan. This was a very sobering yet promising experience. I am also pleased to note that my great enthusiasm for teaching and working with our students is undiminished after 35 years here. |

What I'm Reading I’m never not reading...usually three or four books at a time. My chief interests are in culture studies, progressive politics, Holocaust literature and history, and Native American works. Right now, I’m working on two books about the Civil War, a biography of Hitler, and two books on the contemporary religious scene as part of my preparation for my class on The Literature of Unbelief. |
