Tal Sanders (Instructor: Technical Theatre, Intro. to Design, Script Analysis, Makeup and Mask-making, and Theatre Appreciation) has designed lighting and scenery for many aspects of entertainment, including theatre, film, television, theme parks, mall d├ęcor, and zoos. An Assistant Professor of Theatre, he serves as Faculty Scenic and Lighting Designer as well as Technical Director for Theatre & Dance at Pacific University.

Tal holds an MFA in Design from California Institute of the Arts and is a proud member of the United Scenic Artists. An award-winning designer with numerous national credits, his work has received The Independent Theatre Award, The Garland, and The Drammy. Recent credits include the West Coast premiers of The Apple Family Plays (Third Rail Repertory Theatre), the world premiers of Continuum and Licking Batteries (CoHo/Playwrights West), Ithaka (Artists Repertory Theatre) and Locomotion (Oregon Children’s Theatre).

In his spare time Tal enjoys painting, museum-going, and attending rodeo events.
