Deutscher Academischer Austasch Dienst (DAAD) Euroscholars Program

Purpose

This program provides funding for students interested in studying at a university in Europe for a semester or full academic year. Internships at institutions in Europe are also considered.

Programs Funded

Students can enroll full-time in a university or develop a research plan to be carried out under the supervision of a professor. This program provides funding for undergraduate as well as graduate courses of study. Language programs are also considered.

Eligibility

Sophomore or junior level standing for undergraduate applications.

Selection Criteria

This program is designed to provide funding for students who have an interest in current affairs in Germany and Europe. Applicants are encouraged to have a detailed course of study, research plan, or internship. Strong letters of rec and GPA are required.

Application Process

Applicants must submit undergraduate transcripts, two recommendation letters, a language evaluation form, project proposal (3pp.), and an application form.
