Instructions:

  1. University of Limerick Study Abroad Programme Application Form
    Please disregard the requirement to provide proof of Equine experience.
  1. Office of Student Life Endorsement for Study Abroad
    Fill in the information requested in the box at the top of the form before submitting it to the Student Life office.
  1. Two (2) Academic Recommendation Forms
    Please read and complete the box at the top of each form before giving it to the faculty member who will write the recommendation. Please have these completed by instructors who are familiar with your work.
  1. Self-Disclosure Medical and Dietary Report Form
  1. Financial Statement (notarized)
    For immigration purposes you need proof of financial ability to maintain yourself during your study abroad period.

    a) If you support yourself financially you will need to prove funds in a bank account equal to EUR1,500 (approx US$1,875.00) per semester.

    b) If your parent(s) support you: please ask for a notarized letter of financial support from your parents showing funds in a bank account equal to EUR1,500 (approx US$1,875.00) per semester.

  1. A Letter of Parental/Guardian Consent
    Please ask your parent(s)/guardian(s) to write a brief letter stating their consent to your studying abroad. Please include your name, name of program (University of Limerick), and study period in question.
  1. Two Passport Photographs (passport size)
    Only passport photographs accepted. No snapshots, photocopies, or similar.
  1. Official Transcript/s
    You must submit official college transcripts from Pacific University as well as all other colleges attended. Your transcripts must show credits and grades for all courses taken.
  1. Personal Essay
    Please submit an essay about a statement as to how you see your proposed courses of study in this University tying in with previous studies and with your future academic/vocational objectives. Limit your essay to two pages typed, double-spaced.

Please note that Pacific assesses a $250 processing fee per semester of study abroad that will be automatically included on your tuition statement each semester.
