Study Abroad in Swansea, Wales
Housing and Meals
Students will live in halls on campus for the first two and a half weeks prior to moving into term time housing. Students will then move to the Student Village, which comprises shared houses and apartments with mostly single rooms, although there are some doubles. While both male and female students may live in the same house/apartment, they are segregated by floor.
The Village is located approximately two miles from campus in a part of town called Hendrefoilan. Students may walk to campus
(about 25 minutes) or take a bus. Bus service is excellent with buses to and from Hendrefoilan running every 10 - 15 minutes.
Students living in the Student Village housing complex do not have a
meal plan, and will need to cook for themselves. Each Student Village house has a large kitchen equipped with a range, refrigerator, and microwave oven, while each Student Village apartment has a shared kitchen for its residents.
