Program Information

Participants will study at Swansea University, one of the seven insti
tutions of the University of Wales system. Swansea University has a
student population of approximately 10,000: large enough to support a wide range of academic and social activities, yet small enough to ensure a sense of belonging and community. The University offers a well-rounded Arial View of Swansea University Campus academic program with extensive course offerings in the arts, social sciences, science and engineering.

Swansea University is located on the shore of Swansea Bay and is ideally situated in a large area of landscaped parkland two miles to the west of the city with the Gower Peninsula extending some fifteen miles to its west. The Gower Peninsula, with its broad bays and secluded sandy coves, is an area of spectacular beauty which provides an abundance of outdoor recreational opportunities.

The City of Swansea, with a population of about 200,000, has excellent road and rail connections to all parts of Britain and London is only three hours away by train. The city offers a fine shopping center and is home to the Swansea Market, one of the oldest markets in the country.
