About The Media Arts Portfolio
Media Arts students create some truly creative and thought-provoking work. For years, this work has been accessible to just the members of the department because it occupied so many different formats and was too difficult to share with a broader audience. All that has changed thanks to the efforts of students from the department's Integrated Media program. Nine students set out to create a unique and comprehensive portfolio for the department's students. The M.A.P, as they call it, will feature myriad samples, from Media Arts coursework to the year-long independent projects of our graduating class. The site will utilize cutting-edge technology to deliver audio, video, animation, multimedia, and even the written prose of our journalism students in a unique and imaginative presentation that, itself, is a clear demonstration of the skills our students possess.
The M.A.P. will have its official launch layer this year, but for now, the students have created a short presentation that will serve as a preview of what is to come. We hope you enjoy the show.
