Biography
As a graduate of Pacific University, Dace is excited to serve as staff accompanist at her alma mater. She accompanies the Chamber Singers as well as individual performers during their lessons, performance forums, competitions and recitals.
Dace grew up in Latvia where she began her piano studies at the age of five at the Sigulda Music School. She then became a full time accompanist for various ensembles at the Folk Dance Company in Riga. After moving to the United States, Dace earned her Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance from Pacific University, and in 2004 she received the Outstanding Instrumentalist Award. In addition to her work at Pacific, Dace works as a pianist and organist at the United Methodist Church in Forest Grove. She also accompanies the choir at the Forest Grove High School and has a large private piano studio. She is a member of OMTA and NMTA.
