Biography
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Douglas McMickle spent his formative years in Istanbul, Turkey, where both of his parents served as teachers. A graduate of Pacific University with his bachelor and masters degrees in music education, Doug is now Instructor of Classical Guitar at his alma mater. He taught for many years in the Forest Grove School District, and has also taught and performed professionally throughout the region. His main teacher while training earlier in his life was Jon Bunce.
