Ignite your imagination

A student ignites a large bottle filled with n-propanol during a lecture about combustion properties. The video requires a plug-in capable of playing Quicktime movies (.mov).

General chemistry at Pacific is a dynamic combination of classroom lecture demos and laboratory experiences. It culminates in student-designed research projects that are then presented in an end of the year poster session attended by faculty, administration and students from all over campus.
