Study the effects of human activity on natural environments associated with Third World, developing countries.

A variety of ecosystems and areas are studied, including lowland savannas, tropical seasonal forests, limestone caves, costal lagoons, mangrove swamps, sea grass flats, coral reefs and urban and rural societies.
