Peace & Conflict Studies
The peace and social justice minor engages students in investigating issues of social justice, inequality and violence among individuals, groups and the nations of the world. Students choosing this minor are encouraged to develop a closely reasoned philosophical position on peace and social justice that can have lifelong application. The minor especially serves students who embark on careers in civic engagement, such as law, education, business, government, medicine and social work. It also prepares students from any major to be informed, active citizens. |
