65th Annual Northwest Philosophy Conference
October 4-5, 2013

Keynote speaker: Noël Carroll (CUNY Graduate Center)
The 65th annual Northwest Philosophy Conference will be held October 4-5, 2013 on the campus of Pacific University, in Forest Grove, Oregon. Papers on any philosophical topic are welcome. Papers should be approximately 3000 words (20 minutes presentation time). Submissions should be sent as Word or PDF documents to David Boersema at: firstname.lastname@example.org Please include a cover page with paper title, abstract and author name, affiliation, and contact information.
Submission deadline is August 15, 2013. Final decisions will be made by August 31, 2013.
To facilitate and encourage discussion, paper sessions will have session chairs rather than commentators for individual papers.
Friday, October 4:
Conference social 5:00-6:00pm;
Conference banquet: 6:00-8:00pm.
Saturday, October 5:
Continental breakfast 7:30-9:30am;
Paper sessions 8:00-11:15am;
Keynote presentation: 11:30am-1:00pm;
Conference luncheon 1:00-2:00pm;
Paper sessions 2:00-7:00pm.
The Friday social and banquet, as well as Saturday lunch will take place in the MPR (lower level of Washburn Hall). Regular paper sessions will take place in Marsh Hall or Warner Hall. The keynote presentation will take place in the Tom Miles Theatre (in Warner Hall). A continental breakfast on Saturday will be provided in Marsh Hall and Warner Hall.

Registration costs: $75, payable at the conference.
The conference registration table will be in the MPR on Friday, October 4 beginning at 5:00pm. On Saturday, October 5, the conference registration table will be in Marsh Hall, on the second floor lobby.
