Anne Huffington-Carroll

Anne Huffington-Carroll will join the faculty in Pacific University's dance program, teaching kinesiology for dancers in the fall and spring semesters of 2013-2014. Huffington-Carroll is an accomplished dancer, experienced teacher and an expert physical therapist specializing in dance rehabilitation. 

She has danced as a member of Minnesota Dance Theatre, Arizona Dance Theatre, Ballet Michigan and Oregon Ballet Theatre. As a former member of Actor's Equity, she also performed inOklahoma! with the Minnesota Opera Company and in 42nd Street and Guys and Dolls with Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. She also was a competitive Highland Dancer for several years.

She has been a member of the faculty of Minnesota Dance Theatre School, Rochester Ballet School, A Dancer's Place, Arizona Dance Theatre School and The Ballet School in Salt Lake City, where she participated in the design of the school syllabus, a conditioning program and anatomy workbooks still in use today.

She is a guest teacher at The Portland Ballet and Bodyvox and is on the wellness staff of The Portland Ballet. She provides injury screening to The Portland Ballet Youth Company and school, and she teaches injury prevention and anatomy each year at its Summer Ballet Intensive.

Huffington-Carroll is an Advanced Clinician at Providence Portland North East Rehabilitation. Her practice specilizes in Persistent Pain, Manual Therapy, Dance and Sports Rehab.
