Caitlin Quinn

Caitlin received her Undergraduate degree from Western Washington University in Theatre with an emphasis in Costume Design. She has been designing Costumes most of her life, loves teaching others about the craft, and is thrilled to be returning to Pacific University this year.  Caitlin manages the costume shop, designs costumes, hair, and makeup for all of the Theatre and Dance productions, and teaches Introduction to Costume Design as well as Introduction to Hair and Makeup Design.

Caitlin is also currently working on her Masters in Art and Theatre Education at Pacific University. She is finishing up her last semester of classes and will begin student teaching in the spring.  Many of her studies involve storytelling, and she is currently writing and directing a production focused on folktales from around the world for Sunnyside Environmental School in Portland this fall.

Caitlin has been involved with Children's Theatre for some time now and has been working on developing a program here at the University. This last summer she put on the very first Children's Summer Theatre Camp here and hopes to continue to build the relationship between children in the community and the Pacific University Department of Theatre & Dance.  She looks forward to the year ahead and is excited by all the challenges and possibilities that the future holds!
