French Language Assistant Xavière André
Hi everybody!
My name is Xavière. I’m from the west coast of France. I’ll be with you this semester. So how about getting to know each other?
I received my Masters degree in English Literature last year. I find myself interested in art and culture, I love to listen to music, go to concerts, travel, meet new people…and as a teaching assistant I have the amazing opportunity to share my own culture and language with you while gaining overseas experience. Having French Table and French Night here at Pacific University is a good way for me to show you a little bit about French culture. Watching French movies, listening to French songs, having a crêpe party, cooking a French meal together, or playing games are some of the fun activities we can enjoy doing together.
On top of that you’ll have the opportunity to attend very fun outings with the French Club. Lucky you! So be on the look out for posters around campus to see what the French Club is planning for you guys. All students are welcome to participate in the weekly activities and in the French Club (remember to join the Club if you haven’t already done so).
