Japanese Language Assistant Kaoru Takeda
Hello, everyone!
I am Kaoru Takeda, from Hiroshima, Japan. I graduated from Hiroshima Jogakuin University with a B.A. in English.
My hobbies are cooking, traveling, watching movies, shopping, and snowbording, however, I am still lerning. I especially like traveling abroad and have visited many places. (Australia, India, Tanzania, Turky, China, U.A.E., Seychelles etc...).
I think I am really lucky to be here with you and share this time together. I hope your interest in Japan will continue to grow more and more!
Campus Activities
Kaoru hosts the following activities for the Japanese program at Pacific. Students are encouraged to take advantage of her presence during these times:
ジャパニーズ・テーブル - Japanese Conversation Tables
Tuesdays and Fridays at Noon in the UC (look for Kaoru and her Japanese table signs)
ジャパニーズ・ナイト - Japanese Night
Tuesday nights at 6:00-8:00pm in the Milky Way.
You may just show up to the conversation tables and Japanese night with no advance notice. Come join us!
