Interview Day
Based on the thorough evaluation of completed applications, selected applicants are invited for an on-campus personal interview. The interview is required and is a contributing factor in the admission decision. It allows the Audiology Admissions Committee to assess essential skills and traits which may not be reflected in the application. The Audiology Interview Day for the upcoming Fall 2013 class was held on Pacific University’s College of Health Professions campus (in Hillsboro, Oregon) on Saturday, March 2, 2013 and Thursday, March 14, 2013.
In the interview, consideration was given to knowledge of the profession, motivation toward a career in audiology, ability to think clearly and logically, professionalism, poise, self-confidence and interpersonal skills. The Audiology Interview Day is an all-day event and is designed to provide students with more information about the program and the opportunities that exist for students at Pacific University.
