Weather Conditions Safety Reminder

As the fall season emerges, remember to be mindful of your surroundings. Look at and listen to the trees, particularly on windy and rainy days.

Your personal safety is of the utmost importance to the University.

Facilities Management and Campus Public Safety encourage you to be mindful of your surroundings as the likelihood of windy and rainy days increases over the next several months.

These conditions often contribute to falling tree branches on the Forest Grove Campus.

All trees on this campus are regularly monitored and assessed by both Facilities Management and contracted arborists. Diseased branches and limbs are removed promptly.

Despite these precautionary measures, the possibility of falling tree branches still exists, particularly during stormy weather.

As you walk around or under trees on campus, please remember to look at and listen to the trees.
