Looking for SMART Volunteers!

Want to help kids improve their reading? Or even simply need volunteer hours? This is the perfect opportunity for you! The SMART community is looking for volunteer readers to help students improve their literacy! Even one hour can make a difference!

We are looking for volunteers to read once or twice a week to kindergarden through second grade level students at Free Orchard Elementary with the SMART program. SMART (Start Making A Reader Today) is a nonprofit organization that has helped more than 160,000 at-risk kids build their reading skills and self-confidence. Our hours are from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays. If you were to join for even half an hour that would greatly help! If you are interested please email me!
